Zen Selected as a Finalist in National Customer Service Awards

National Customer Service Awards - Finalist 200830 September 2008: Zen Internet is delighted to announce that we were selected as a finalist in this year's National Customer Service Awards.

Our Customer Service and Technical Support are seperated into two teams so that our customers are instantly dealing with the right person rather than being passed from one department to another. Customer Service is dedicated to getting our customers' products and services up and running as quickly as possible whilst Technical Support is there to resolve any subsequent customer queries. Too often technical support can be regarded as a cost which needs to be kept to a minimum but at Zen it is as important to us as customer service.

Unlike traditional call centres, arbitrary numerical measures and targets are avoided when assessing employee's quality of work and work-rate. For example, contact with a customer should take as long as is necessary. This removes the need to adhere to set call times which can result in unnecessary multiple calls. The company believes in a collective approach to accountability and feels that the qualitative measurements we use instead, and the way they are monitored, support our objective for continual improvement.
